Transport Operator - 4 on, 4 off - Nights

Transport Operator (4 on, 4 off - Nights) - Liverpool - Up to 33,000

Our client, who are a recognized transport company are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Liverpool.

As Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with containers and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 4 on, 4 off - Nights

Salary: Up to 33,000

The Role:

• Routing company owned vehicles
• You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
• Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
• Ensure all customers are kept up to date
• All necessary admin must be completed
• You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
• Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.

The Requirements:

• Extensive Transport route planning skills
• Container is experience required
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Strong communication skills
